PEL are delighted to announce a series of practical "inkjet for electronics" training courses in Cambridge, UK.

The 2 day courses occur monthly and cover inkjet printing of nano-particulate silver and photo-dielectric inks to manufacture circuit structures. The topics covered will include:

  • Basic ink rheology of electronically functional/nanoparticulate inkjet inks
  • Introduction to binary andgreyscale technology inkjet heads
  • Drop visualisation and satellite formation
  • Ink drop/substrate interaction and spread characteristics
  • Substrate surface energy modification
  • Printing and functionalisation of electronically functional inks using the Dimatix DMP and Xaar equipped iTi printing machines.

The course is practically based and the participants will use our drop visualisation, surface energy modification equipment and inkjet machines to print and functionalise simple circuits. Due to the practical nature of the course we limit the number of participants to 5.
